B Category Flight Instructor and Deputy CFI vacancies.
To satisfy our ongoing flight training commitments we have vacancies for B Category Instructors, and the Deputy CFI position.
Over the past 55 years the North Shore Aero Club has developed into a substantial flight training organisation, and is now one of the biggest Aero Clubs in New Zealand. We currently have a team of 13 instructors and a fleet of 12 aircraft. We hold an Aviation Training Organisation Certificate issued by the CAA under Part 141 with SMS approval, are a registered NZQA Private Training Establishment, and have NZQA Accreditation to offer the Diploma in Aviation. This is an opportunity to become part of a vibrant and dynamic flight training organisation, while enjoying everything the club has to offer.
Applicants will (preferably) have all instructor endorsements removed, as successful applicants will be expected to give (ideally) flight and ground instruction towards:
 night rating
 multi-engine rating
 instrument rating
 C-Cat Instructor rating (previous experience teaching C-Cat candidates is highly desirable)
Also desirable is knowledge of Safety Management Systems, Quality Management, Maintenance and Document Control.
Suitable instructors will:
 work with exemplary people skills in a highly professional manner
 maintain an exceptional standard of instruction
 promote all aspects of safety as a senior instructor and role model to both students and junior staff
Above all else it is expected that those instructors will quickly become an integral part of our instructor team here at NSAC. We are able to offer attractive remuneration packages to appropriately qualified and experienced candidates, as well as other incentives.
