FAI licence information

FLYING NZ PROVIDES NATIONAL AIRSPORTS CONTROL (NAC) ON BEHALF OF
Fédération Aéronautique Internationale
FOR ALL AFFILIATED AVIATION SPORTS IN NEW ZEALAND

As National Air sports controller, Flying NZ issues Sporting Licences, documentation and registration of air sport records with FAI, represents New Zealand air sport affiliates to FAI and provides all communications of significance between New Zealand air sport groups and the FAI council.

Eligability:

Flying NZ issues licences to New Zealand born nationals and to people who have been granted citizenship or permanent residency.

Applicants who were not New Zealand born must upload evidence of citizenship or residency. (Scan of of passport showing citizen or residency stamp etc.)


Photograph:

If this is your first FAI Airsport licence issue, you need to upload a current Passport style photograph of yourself. Other applicants will need to upload a current photo if they haven't done so within the previous five years.

  • Complete the form including uploading files as necessary
  • Complete the payment page.
  • You will receive a confirmation of receipt email.
