2021 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPSWest Melton Airfield 15 - 21th February 2021 - Hosted by the Canterbury Aero Club

Welcome to the Canterbury Aero Club
and the West Melton Airfield

The Canterbury Aero Club is delighted to be hosting you and is keen to ensure your visit is enjoyable in every respect.

There has been an immense effort by a great team of volunteers which I am sure is going to result in a well-run competition enhanced by traditional Canterbury hospitality.

We have organised a social programme which will provide plenty of opportunity to renew old friendships and to  meet and make new ones.
We especially welcome the Young Eagles who might be experiencing their very first National event of this scale and I hope you can go out of your way to involve them and  make them feel welcome.

West Melton airfield is a MBZ located in busy airspace. Please ensure you thoroughly read the Nationals Operational Document below. Aircraft arriving on Tuesday 16th February will require an arrival slot. Please indicate your desired time on the registration form.

Wildcard competition entries may be balloted due to circuit size. Lisa will contact you within two weeks of registrations closing if we are unable to offer you a spot. If entering more than one Wildcard competition please enter in order of preference on the Registration Form. If you don't hear from Lisa then your entry will have been accepted.

There are no landing fees.

BP fuel will be available during the event. There will be a CAC member at the pumps to assist you if required. Please do not leave your aircraft un-attended at the fuel station.

Breakfast will be available at the West Melton clubhouse from 6.30am each day from Wednesday, to Saturday.
You may have a Continental or a Cooked breakfast including sausages with bacon eggs and hash brown.

Bagged lunches are available each day from Wednesday to Saturday and consist of a filled roll, sweet slice, fresh fruit and a water bottle.

A BBQ will be held on Wednesday evening, pay on the night.
