SEASON RESULTS

The 2023-2024 Competition season is complete with 2024 National Championships competed for in Ashburton recently.

Thank you to all of our Clubs for your support in hosting and competing in these very popular contests! We look forward to seeing you at your regional contests later in 2024.

Unfortunately, Australia were unable to send a team to compete for the Wings International Trophy this year, so we will not have a result for that. Hopefully they are able to compete next year.

SEASON RESULTS

The 2022 - 2023 Competition season is now completed.

The following are the results of the 2023 Flying New Zealand National Championships. The National Championships were hosted by Marlborough Aero Club at Omaka Aerodrome.

2023 WINGS INTERNATIONAL TROPHY RESULTS
AUSTRALIA TAKES THE TROPHY

The Australian team took out the 2023 International Wings Trophy Competition which was held in Echuca, Victoria, Australia.

The New Zealand team's placings were:

• Aerobatics -David Wilkinson (second place)

• Precision Circuit – Andreas Michaelaides (second place)

• Forced Landing – Russell Borman (first place)

• Formation – Graeme Closey, Andreas Michaelaides, David Campbell (second place)
  

Congratulations to our team who competed well. It is New Zealand's turn to host at our Nationals competitions in March 2024 in Ashburton!
