COMPETITION ADVISORY GROUP

WHAT IS THE COMPETITION ADVISORY GROUP?

The Competition Advisory Group (CAG) is Flying NZ's trusted advisor on all things competitions, especially the rules for each competition, and the general way in which competitions are run. The CAG consists of experienced competition pilots and officials and professional representation by instructor pilots.

Each year, CAG undertake a review of any lessons learnt and other feedback we have received in the previous year relating to our competitions. This feedback is used to help modifiy the rules to improve competitions, making them safer, fairer and more enjoyable and accessible to Club pilots.

We use submissions from Clubs, our safety management system and the experience of the Flying NZ Executive and the CAG members to inform this review.

As a Flying NZ Cub pilot, instructor or Club Executive team member, you can make a submission on the following form. Note that the Rule Book Submission field is a large text field and can accept up to 4000 characters.
