ABOUT
Located on the Whenuapai Air Force base, the club aims to encourage and promote an interest in light aircraft flying, particularly in the non-flying branches of the NZDF. Air Cadets, Air Scouts, serving members of the NZ Police and former members of the NZDF are also offered priority membership. The club offers training from ab-initio/PPL through to CPL, IR and C Cat instructor ratings along with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that aero club flying is renowned for.
The club actively partakes in the Flying NZ Regional and National competitions and has achieved significant success across a multitude of disciplines. Prospective new members are advised to visit our website for more information.
