The Mercury Bay Aero Club is based at Whitianga and operates the airfield.Club activities are based around its C172 aircraft, both for flight training.Microlight training is also available in the Tecnam Echo, courtesy of the Coromandel Flying Club.The Mercury Bay Aero Club is an ideal place to fly in and visit the many attractions of Whitianga and the Mercury Bay area, or just have a great coffee.
