ABOUT
Waikato Aviation (Waikato Aero Club) has been training pilots since 1933 at the Hamilton International Airport.
We have an Aviators Club for those who enjoy flying for a hobby or on the weekends, a Flight Training Academy for those looking to fly for a career plus we carry out charter, scenic, photography and survey flights. We offer customer-focused flight training options that cater for those at entry level right up to the professional level. Our staff are very professional and friendly, they are centred on delivering flight training that helps customers reach their goals and milestones.
The Aviators Club offers a range of activities from club flying trips and competition flying up to social events that cater for the whole family.
You can sit on the spacious balcony that overlooks the Hamilton Airport and watch the aircraft coming and going. Waikato Aviation has modern facilities and a fleet of nine aircraft both high and low wing, from two-seat aerobatic trainers to a fully IFR G1000 twin and a twin IFR simulator.
