ABOUT
The Canterbury Aero Club, established in 1928 at Wigram airfield, is based at Christchurch International Airport and has branches at Rangiora and West Melton airfields.
The Club and its branches have access to a variety of training and low flying areas, just minutes away from their bases.
The Club’s private airfield at West Melton is five minutes' flying time away. Rangiora Airfield, serving North Canterbury members is just 12 minutes away. Two large hangars house the 32 aircraft which include glass cockpit and twins. Our in-house engineering team ensures that the aircraft are always serviceable.
